A ten-year old girl
named Leslie was reported dead. She lived in the old perkins place. It was said
that she was playing near the creek bank when she noticed a rope hanging from
an Apple tree.
She attempted to swing across to the ather side over the flooding waters of the creek. She drowned after the rope broke. Her family and her dearest friend Jesse showed deep sympathy. The rope had been worn out after many days of violent downpour. The police said that it was an unlucky event and also mentioned that parents should control their kids from doing dangerous things that could cost life.
